Classic Design with Improvement

OnePlus 7T is maintaining the water-drop notch at the front but it is smaller than before. It also has narrow-bezel edge-to-edge screen. After a quick comparison we also felt that the corners of the screen are more angular. So there are some improvement but at the same time it also maintains the same classy OnePlus look Tall aspect ratio with nice and cute upgrades. OnePlus is also known for the the eye catching design and the same it is repeating with OnePLus 7T. The Phone looks good and solid.

Now at the back side you will notice the new massive circular camera setup, the complete setup is like a hump. The setup reminds me of the evergreen Nokia Lumia 1020’s camera module but it has now three cameras. The OnePlus 7t measures 160.94 x 74.44 x 8.13mm (HxWxT), It is launched in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue colors. Overall the back has a clean design. If you noticed the color of this smartphone you will know that the color is bit lighter than others, the same Apple did with Apple 11.

Not just color shades, The OnePlus 7T weights just 190 grams so it is also lighter in comparison to the OnePlus 7 Pro. The tall and compact aspect ratio also make the phone easy to hold and also good for one hand operations. The matte finish though makes it quite slippery, so a case is a better and secure add-on for this.

More Speed

The OnePlus 7T is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The chipset is the fastest chip in an Android phone right now. Additionally the CPU is clocked at 2.9GHz, which offer 4 per cent better performance than older Models and there also 14 per cent boost for graphics performance by the upgraded GPU.

After Chipset, GPU and CPU let me tell you the OnePlus 7T also features 8GB LPDDR4X RAM as standard and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 type storage, now again the overall hardware combination is enough to deliver the best possible performance. And now if you are thinking about software OnePlus 7T will run on new Oxygen OS 10 based on Android 10, which is the latest, fast and up-to-date.

Open Apps or Games, do multitasking, Watch HD Movies, Play Games with Ultra frame rate settings with High graphics, you can do everything without any headaches, the OnePlus 7T can bear anything. There is some heat issue but it is expected in phones, but thing is that you will not feel any lag, or low frame rate or lazzy UI at all. The Phone is Super fast and Super responsive and the combination of hardware and software makes OnePlus 7T Super amazing.

The Unseen View

The Display is special that’s why we kept it separate from the design and just metioned once in this OnePlus 7t Review, The OnePlus 7T features 6.55-inches Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display. The cool thing is that It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and supports HDR10+ colors. It is not really hard to notice that the display is providing a very smooth, excellent color profile, Clear, bright and sharp viewing experience. I also want to mention that the screen gets quite brigh t at 1000 nits which makes text and image view-able even under sunlight. The Display is bright and produces vivid colours and high contrasts but still display of OnePlus 7 Pro was more awesome i feel personally.

The notch with camera housing is noticeable until you get used to it, later it is fine. The OnePlus 7t also has optical in-display fingerprint sensor, Which i feel a bit faster then its other siblings. As per my personal experience OnePlus 7T have one of the best Smartphone display, and the smoothness of the 90Hz refresh rate is un-comparable. By the way you can choose the color profiles to get a more natural if you still wanna play with it.

Possibly the One of the Best Camera Setup

We can’t ignore the camera setup of these smartphone especially when there is a completely new camera setup in a eye catching  gallery like setup. At the back there is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with an F1.6 lens and OIS assistance main camera. A 16-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 17mm lens joined the main sensor and now the 12-megapixel telephoto sensor slips to the third (position) camera.

OnePlus 7T review

The third one is offering 2x optical zoom and the complete camera setup comes with a dual-tone LED flash on the same hump. Camera setup is perfect and delivers almost the perfect camera experience. The Camera setup is also good in the low light condition. Even in 2x optical zoom there is nothing to worry about. Color tuning is perfect in daylight, captured image is sharp and there is improvement in AI features and auto filters.

OnePlus7t also has built-in a macro mode to take close-up shots. The Main sensor also features Hybrid Image Stabilization which leverages optical as well as electronic stabilization capabilities. The Experience is good even while walking or moving around, but Gimble stick is still the best option.

Now as you know these smartphones highlights the color more the some is happening in this smartphone also. The OnePlus7T add some extra effects of color to make things gorgeous It works but not every-time. Another Problem is that It works effectively in day light like sharp, clear image but in low light it fails to deliver half of what we expected from it.

For Video Recording i preferred shooting in 1080p at 60 fps over 4K, because of two reasons, the first there’s a super stable mode that only allows shooting in 1080p. The super stable mode uses both OIS and EIS to ensure the best stability.

And second reason is that in 1080p mode, all the three cameras are available for videos, but you can only use the main camera in the rest of the modes. So shooting in 1080p at 60 fps is a better option. We tried 4K resolution at 60 fps also, and the footage was clear with great color vibrancy and brightness.

At front side there is a 16 MP selfie camera placed in notch. This selfie camera takes amazing photos in well-lit condition, pictures were sharp, clear with vivid colors and bright tones, but in low light the images look blurry and lose details also the AI features not works great in low-lit and colors are boosted without need.

I am not saying that it is bad, It is good, but there are still some better option available in the market with more clarity, and color tuning.

OnePlus 7T review : all-day battery and other Specifications

OnePlus 7t features a 3800mAh battery unit, The capacity is slightly better than the OnePlus 7. This time the unit is enough for an entire day’s battery life I used Chrome Browser around 3 hours, then played YouTube videos for an hour with Bluetooth headphone, some occasional calls and 20 minutes in PUBG (i died twice). Still there is 48% battery remaining. So battery is enough for a day.

Charging speed is Notable thing in OnePlus 7t, Battery percentage reached 4% to 100% in almost an hour and for the battery capacity of 3800mAh battery unit that’s supersonic speed. As per officials, the company have applied/ done some software optimizations to ensure faster-charging speeds additionally we can’t forget about 30W Warp Charger. The company claims 18 percent faster charging speeds compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro.
