The processor of XM4 might be similar to that in XM3 but the noise-canceling performance has surely been improved in the latter. The 40mm dynamic drives supporting a 4-40,000Hz response range is surely a pro for the product and if you want to connect it to a stereo, the 3.5mm socket can be used.
The SBC, AAC, and LDAC Bluetooth codecs supporting Bluetooth 5 is a feature which is not available in all brands. XM3 includes Qualcomm aptX support, enabling it to connect to Apple Macs and other PCs but the brand has removed it from the new product.
