Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Review : Talking about the wireless earphone segment there is another potential runner in the league against realme, vivo, JBL, Sony, MI, Oppo, Samsung, Apple etc, – “Anker”. The brand has already marked its presence as the renowned producer of power banks, chargers and AA / AAA batteries and if that’s not it, Anker has previously shown its master skills with Flare Bluetooth speaker and Liberty Air True wireless earbuds.

How does It look?

The feeling is quite good when you are standing in a group with your pals and being asked about the gadget you are owning. Like yeah, its something you could flaunt in front of them. The Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro charging case has an awesome first impression donning the shape of an oval with matte black colour and the logo carved just at the top of the case and a USB port at the bottom. It is incredibly compact that marks an extra score for this gadget. The light weighted plastic case has a magnetic core that places the earbuds to their correct positions even if you just drop them into the box. The sliding lid is just what you need to show off.

Now the earbuds. The finishing of the earbuds is good, not a pro. With silicon tips, the earbuds fit the best in the ears giving the comfort just worthy of the price. The earphones are said to be a bit bulky but still in shape compared to brands like Bose Soundsport Free earbuds. The controls are right at the top of the earbuds and thankfully are an easy click.

Its In-built Qualities

Anker TWS earphones give excellent sound frequency but fair noise isolation. Adding on, they are sweat-proof, so you could enjoy your morning gym with smooth and uninterrupted music. Best ever start of the day, right?

A slight setback is that it is not completely water-proof so be extra cautious with dropping them here or there. It’s easy to connect with your PC/laptop or iPhone/android but the discrepancy here is when you switch in between the source devices you have to go to the settings and connect the earbuds all over again.

You will love working with control buttons.

Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Review

Control buttons are on the top of each earbud, slightly pressing either of them will play/pause the music or answer the calls. Double-tap will slide to the previous or next track (depending the earbud is for left or right side). Press hold of the right button to decrease the volume and the left to increase the volume.

The sound

The earphones possess microphones good enough for clear communication over phone calls. But not recommended for conference or business calls as the sound quality is a bit snafu. Talking about the sound frequency it gives is 250Hz with four noise-cancelling microphones. You can’t praise it enough when it comes to audio sound quality. The lower notes are focused more than notes in mids or highs. Which means the bass sound will be louder than other sounds in the music.

Connectivity

Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro gives Bluetooth 5.0 – the latest in the market also the feasibility of pairing to more than one device. Anker gives both AAC and aptX codecs for high-end sound. Whether the source device is iOS or Android you are good to go with both of them.

The App

Yes, Anker is giving you app assistance for both iOS and Android, so customization at your fingertips. The thing to notice here is, the app gives an equalizer setting but recommended is the HeardID function. HearID conducts a small hearing test and gives you a personalized sound experience (rare to find in other TWS earphones).

Battery Life

Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Review

8 hours of non-stop usage. That’s right, Anker claims 8 hrs battery life in a single charge with 24 hours of playback with a case charging. Charge it either with the wireless charger or attach the port all works with Anker Soundcore Liberty Pro earphones.

Worth buying or not?

Yes, this product is worth a purchase as it has very importantly the sweat-resistance quality and high-quality audio sound plus a stylish matte black case with considerable battery life (both earbuds and case). The size of the earbuds is a slight drawback here.

Though these have passive noise cancellation, the earbuds are totally worth the price, given its other set of in-built qualities. App assistance is the best feature here. The slide lid feature of the case is mind-blowing and satisfying to hands.

Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Review: The Verdict

Just like other brands, Anker has left some drawbacks in the earbuds but these are definitely a tough competition to Samsung Galaxy buds and buds +and Jabra Elite 65t. Good for daily use and can pair with Android and iOS both. In Short, with a clear sound, smooth controls, an app, fine battery life and good connectivity, Anker Soundcore Liberty Pro 2 is doing complete justice to the price you are paying to make them yours.
