MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones Review: It is our 12th audio gadget we are reviewing at We Observed. So when I said Infinity (JBL) Glide 500 Wireless is the best Bass oriented headphone in this budget, then my team members have done some research and come up with five alternative bass-oriented headphones and I am trying to review them one by one. MI Super Bass Wireless Headphone which we received first so without any partiality I used it last week and today I am here with MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones Review.

MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones (YDTDQC01JY) are available on Amazon.in at price ₹ 1,799.00 and having a rating of 3.9 out of 5 along with 1,479 reviews. It is available in two colour options Black+Gold and Black+Red. We ordered and received the Black with Red colour combination. The Package contains 1x Headphones, User manual, 1 x Aux cable, and 1 x Charging cable. Now let’s talk about the design and specification first.

Design and Specification

The Overall body is built out of plastic while the ear cups are made out of soft foam (ear cuffs). The texture around MI logo looks good and the headband is also cushioned with the similar foam as the ear cups. Beside Logo, the red colour strip is included around joints, Like at both side of cushioned foam on headband and on earcups.

One thing I noticed that the ear cups are small so its size makes it uncomfortable to wear it for long use, Even after 30 minutes your ear will start paining a little bit. The second thing is that it is not foldable and doesn’t come in any pouch or bag so you will need some extra space compared to other foldable headphones.

The right ear cup accommodates three control buttons which are multifunctional along with audio input jack, micro-USB port, and power indicator. The buttons can be used to control all the functions like power on/off, play or pause and changing the music track.

The overall design is good but it fails to provide the comfortability while wearing. Now if we talk about specifications in this MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones Review then the first thing which caught our attention is the 40mm dynamic driver with 32ohm impedance, after that, it also features Bluetooth v5.0, 400 mAh battery, aux input, and inbuild mic. As per the official document, the battery takes 2hrs to full charge and after a full charge, it provides 20hrs of playback time at 80% volume.

Performance and Battery Life

Thanks to Bluetooth v5.0, It connected with each smartphone very quickly, Also during the entire test, there was no connection drop issue in the range of 10m, which is good.

Now if we talk about then I must say it is amazing. It has wide sound-stages and manages notes of audio well, It also provides punchy bass. So If you are a bass lover then this will not disappoint you. Just two thing I want to mention is that it has punchy bass but it doesn’t well support by treble. It is also not very loud so you can hear your playlist at 90% or even 100% volume.

With AUX cable the audio/sounds was a little bit louder than before, but at the same time it also maintained clarity of beats and sound-stages very well, which is impressive.

MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones provides clarity in sound even at maximum volume so if you want clarity + Bass without fine treble tuning and loudness it is an awesome product for you. It also features inbuilt mic so we tested it also by doing some hands-free calling. The mic worked perfectly, there was very minor noise at receiver end but that is acceptable. we can hear the voice of another side very clearly so no problem with that.

During our test, we also find out that the Battery backup mentioned in the document is almost accurate. It takes 2hrs to get fully charged and then it provides playback time of around 18hrs 20minutes at volume 60-70% volume in our case. It doesn’t have fast charging support but the ratio of charging and discharging time is still impressive. Thus MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones Sounds good and also have an amazing battery backup.

MI Super Bass Wireless Headphones is overall a good and product, we encountered just one major problem which is the size of earcups which doesn’t fit well and also feels uncomfortable. However, it provides a clear and rich sound even at high volume along with punchy bass, which impressed us the most. It also provides a good battery life so if you are looking for a headphone give it a try, if you feel comfortable with it then it is good to go otherwise you can go with Infinity (JBL) Glide 500 Wireless.
