Amazfit Bip Lite Review : Design and Specification
The Amazfit Bip lite looks like the Amazfit Blip went to the gym and lost some weight. Amazfit Lite has a similar design to Amazfit Bip, it has the same squarish body face with bezels on all sides. The Logo is located at the bottom side of the screen. The Amazfit Bip Lite features a 1.28-inch reflective always-on display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
At the back of the watch, a heart-rate sensor and charging points are clearly visible. It comes with a silicon strap in the box. These are 20mm straps which can be replaced with other compatible bands of the same width. These straps have a watch-like clasp so this watch looks and feels like a normal watch, it is easy to wear and also reduces the chances of the device accidentally fall off.
Amazfit Bip Lite weights just 32g and it is very light on hand, due to less weight we could sleep with it on for sleep tracking without discomfort. The Smartwatch also has an oleophobic coating which helps keep fingerprints off. If we talk about control then there is just a single button on the Bip Lite. It is placed on the right side, which is the wake/back button. For more control and option, you have to swipe on the display to navigate through the UI of the smartwatch. The smartwatch is compatible with both Android as well as iOS, and we tried it with both.

Amazfit Bip Lite comes with a charging dock or a proprietary charger. We didn’t like it due to the odd look but it also works as Smartwatch stand. The Bip Lite features an incredible battery life of 45 days which is the highlight of this smartwatch.
Amazfit Bip Lite Review : Watch UI and App
The UI on the smartwatch uses big font and icons size, so using it and navigation is easy to comprehend. The Smartwatch screen has below-average viewing angles indoors so we are not impressed with it, but text and icons are visible even under direct sunlight. The touchscreen is responsive enough and we did not have any issues using it. The touchscreen disables itself after a couple of seconds to prevent accidental touches, so we need to keep it enabled by pressing the button. We can change Watch skin from the watch itself.
The Amazfit Bip Lite requires the Amazfit app on your smartphone for setup and sync of information. The App and its features are sometimes identical to Xiaomi Mi Fit app. Although, the app is easy to use, and sync the data of the watch with our smartphone. The connection was quick and syncing was fast. After connecting them, we can see data like the number of steps taken, sleep duration and sleep quality, heart rate, and activity.

With the app we can set the frequency of heart rate detection, set alarms, and change the watch’s display settings. The app kept running in the background but did not have a noticeable impact on its battery life. You can get a notification on the watch you just have to do some settings and choose apps from the list which will alert you on the watch. However, you cannot reply to these notifications directly.
Amazfit Bip Lite Review : Performance and Battery Life
We reviewed Samsung Galaxy Watch Active in mid-September and in the same way and route I am testing the performance of Amazfit Bip Lite. Started with Step Counter, I tested step counter by manually counting 1,000 steps and comparing with Amazfit Bip Lite Step Counter data, which showed 1003 steps, the outcome impressed me because Galaxy Watch Active showed 979 steps for the same. Amazfit Bip Lite is more accurate in counting the steps. One good thing is that Bip Lite did not register steps while we were driving or riding a bike, so the overall margin of error chances are very small.
Heart rate monitor data is identical to the data of Galaxy Watch Active report so I think there will be no issue with it. Now Bip Lite doesn’t have GPS so for tracking the distance it completely depends on the Smartphone’s GPS, So we are not testing it because we are not reviewing Smartphone’s GPS.

The Amazfit Bip Lite can track some activities like running, cycling, and walking. So if you do any of these things very often, you can set up a shortcut to trigger it by long-pressing the button.
Amazfit Bip Lite can track heart rate continuously and it also allows the user to set different intervals between 1 minute and 30 minutes for continuous tracking, You can also set alerts based on your heart rate alert, pace, and distance covered for all activities. The Bip Lite also detected sleep and wake up times accurately. We also get our deep and light sleep phases. The app does offer sleep quality analysis, but it is not very detailed.
It claims 45 days battery backup but in our test in which we enabled an alarm, fixed heart rate monitor at the 1-minute interval, Call message and WhatsApp notification, 60% brightness and sleep tracker were enabled, we managed to get only 18 days battery. In comparison with other smartwatches, it is far better and also with some little adjustment, we can get a better result.
