Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Review : Design Build Quality

To be honest, the design of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 looks decent enough if not too appealing, but the upgrades and changes from the previous version are certainly there as it feels quite light, thin and premium quality headphone.

The headband is padded appropriately along with the ear cups which allows it to use for long hours without causing any discomfort. The use of high-quality plastic does not make it look cheap and gives it a solid build that can easily last for years.

Connectivity

Review of Sennheiser-Momentum-4-Wireless

Sennheiser Momentum 4 connects by easily pairing with your phones, computer, or any other device via Bluetooth 5.2, also it has got a 3.5mm jack & a USB slot to listen to your favourite music on the go. You also get to use adaptive codecs like SBC, AAC, aptX & aptX HD.

However, we would suggest that android users use aptX or aptX HD while AAC for iPhone users for a better listening experience.

Battery Life

Review of Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless

This is a segment where Sennheiser Momentum 4 is far ahead of its competition as the company claims a whopping 60 hours of playback time on a full charge and guess what the reality is quite close as we got 55 hours of playback time that is quite a lot.

Also, charging your Momentum 4 for 10 min could easily give you 6 hours of playback time which is decent enough. Moreover, the battery life has a lot to do with the usage of the headphones.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Review : Sound Quality (What To Expect)

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 uses a 42mm driver that provides a substantial output, the ANC however also plays a major role in improving the sound quality. The adaptive active noise cancellation in momentum 4 is exceptional and restricts most of the unwanted sounds when tested under different noisy conditions.

However when compared with Sony XM5 adaptive ANC they still lag on some occasions, but overall Sennheiser has done a good job to avoid outside noise to great extent.

The Sennheiser does a great job when it comes to sound quality, it seriously has improved bass and sounds much clear and has an open, spacious & deeper sound to them. Also, the highs are more refined, detailed, and textured.

The midrange of the Momentum 4 is as impressive as the highs with more favourable vocals and balance. Also, with quite a few adjustments in the Sennheiser app, you can adjust the quality to your suitability.

Also, the clarity of vocals is on another level on the Momentum 4 and they sound even better than the Sony’s XM series. It is also an app with decent functionality, you can manually adjust the EQ and other zone settings for a better sound experience.

Call Quality

Buy Sennheiser Momentum 4

As for call quality, we do not prefer headphones, as the small microphones on the do not simply serve the purpose in noisy surroundings. But, Sennheiser with its momentum series still leaves scope for calling and to our surprise, it is pretty decent as compared to other wireless headphones in this segment.

Overall, the call we did in different environmental and sound conditions resulted in different outcomes. Sennheiser Momentum 4 does pretty well in places where the outside disturbances amount to moderate level, but a clear avoid at places of higher attenuations.

Even when compared to the most popular Sony XM series the momentum 4 beats them in certain areas like the battery life and quality of vocals.
