Beats Studio Buds are most likely the best earbuds by far from a named company like Beats (owned by Apple). Even though Apple is slowly positioning Beats as a more budget brand compared to Airpods, at the same time, it makes sense to not be competing with themselves on the high end.
Beats Studio Buds Review
Beats has been completely revamped since its acquisition and now offers a range of good-budget earbuds. Beats Studio are no exception, let’s deep dive and find out whether they are worth a buy or not.
Design & Comfort
So, first things first, you get a glossy designed basic looking case that is small and handy enough to carry around, although the matt finished case sometimes feels quite slippery so do take care of that while pulling it out of your pocket. Overall you get a good oval-shaped case with a type C USB port in front and the Beats logo over the top.
When it comes to earbuds you get one of the lightest pairs of earbuds in this range that fits in perfectly. These are even lighter than the Sony WF-1000XM4 and offer a simplistic design that does not pop out of the ears now and then. Beats studio lacks touch controls which may be a miss as you need to press the button for play/pause and skipping tracks that push the buds inside.

Overall, the beats studio earbuds are easy to use the device and have a functional design making them more comfortable even for long usage. While reviewing the beats studio earbuds we faced no slippage or any extra pressure over our ears and no ear fatigue as well over long usage.
These earbuds do a solid job in their design and comfort department and can be easily used while performing moderate exercises in the gym. The earbuds come in three different colors with black being the basic along with red and white being more attractive.
Connectivity
When it comes to connectivity the Beats Studio earbuds do a fantastic job and pair equally well with both Ios and Android devices. Also for the android users, you get a beats in the app that makes it easy for the users to play around with its music settings & control features like active noise canceling and transparency mode, etc.
One major problem solved by beats even though being an Apple-owned brand is that it has been able to provide a similar Apple-like experience to the android users unlike the Airpods and this makes it easier for us to recommend the Beats Studio earbuds to the android users as well.
Sound Quality & Performance
After over a week of listening and comparing it with its peers and even with some high-end earbuds we think it sounds fantastic. Apple has done an amazing job by toning down Beat stereotypical sound into something that still has a punchy base but is more balanced. The sound is crystal clear and crisp over the high end as well and performs better than the Sony WF-1000XM4.
The mids are more accurate on the beats, especially when listing to music like the rock that has lots of sounding instruments. The mids quality is also sometimes better than the galaxy buds pro which sounds better than the AirPods pro.

To be honest the quality of tuning has been done by beats on the studio earbuds reminds us of the AirPods max. But no, they don’t sound as good or as clear as AirPods max but the EQ sounds similar. Overall if sound quality is most important to you and you do enjoy base the Beats Studio Buds sound good, especially for 150$.
Battery Life
The Beats Studio provides an 8-hour battery backup without the case and a 24 hours backup with a charging case which is decent and at power with its peers. It also offers a USB type C cable that supports fast charging and offers an hour battery backup for 5 min charging which is good enough for urgent use. However, the Beats Studio Buds lack wireless charging which is quite a letdown.
Features
Active Noise Cancelling: To be honest these earbuds are the ones that come closest to AirPods in terms of ANC. Even at this price range, it is super cool to get this type of noise cancellation, you barely hear any outside noise with the ANC mode on.
Transparency Mode: While it is tops in the ANC department it is quite a disappointment in transparency mode, although it does its work perfectly and you hear the outside voices but it sometimes feels you’re ears are clogged and feels annoying at times.
Spatial Audio Support: This is another important feature on offer from Studio earbuds that works great with some of the music tracks along with Dolby Atmos to provide a wholesome audio quality.

Beats Studio Buds Review Final Verdict
Although the Beats Studio earbuds lack sensors and do not auto-pause the track when you pull out the earbuds. Also, they do not have any W1 or H1 chip that supports hands-free multipoint pairing but still, these are a very good pair of earbuds and perform exceptionally well in all aspects be it sound, design, comfort, and build quality.
These are one of the better products from the Beats brand after its acquisition by Apple. We would highly recommend these if you are looking for something that offers a performance quite similar to that of high-end AirPods at a very price. Also, you can grab them at a much lower price at Amazon’s electronic sale as well.
