The earbuds are now 15% smaller than the previous generation galaxy buds pro making them much more compact and lightweight. The charging case has a premium finish too and is small enough to be carried anywhere with you at all times

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Review: Sound Quality
This is the first time Samsung has introduced a TWS that fully supports 24-bit high-resolution providing a hi-fi sound quality even with online streaming music applications like Amazon Music, Qobuz, etc and is only possible because of the Hi-Fi SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec) codec used in the Buds 2 Pro delivering 256x the sound data than a 16 bit audio.
However, there’s a catch you can only use this feature with the new-gen phones from Samsung like the latest Z Fold 4 & Z flip 4 and not with the older android devices, in that case, the phones that do not support this codec the sampling rate will get reduced to 16-bit.

The Buds Pro 2 are tuned by “AKG” which does not put a lot of emphasis on bass or lower bass for that matter and also feels a bit more brightness in upper mids & highs. However, you do get detailed sound quality for the majority part. The vocals shine as well especially useful for people who want to experience their favourite Netflix shows & movies supporting a Dolby surround system.
The one big flaw we found is that these TWS are not In-app EQ customizable which does not allow you to change the adjust the vocals according to your wish. Overall the Buds Pro 2 sounds decent enough giving high competition to pixel buds 2 which is placed in a similar space by Google.
Battery Life
On Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, we found that the battery reliably dropped under 20% for every hour of use with the ANC turned on so we managed to get a 5-hour usage which is not quite great, to be honest, and could have been a game changer for many.

These earbuds are the best buy for the lovers of the Samsung ecosystem and have the latest smartphones from Samsung, you surely will have an amazing experience with them if used within Samsung’s ecosystem.
Samsung is doing all to provide and compete with the quality of Apple’s ecosystem and the Buds 2 Pro takes them slightly ahead in that direction. However the Airpods are much more refined and trustworthy in all aspects for now, but it all comes at a higher price range.
