Talking about the design, I will say it’s okay, not bad but decent looking but the build quality is pretty good. Boat Stone 1000 is IPX5 rated which ensures water and dust resistance. It is also shockproof for better protection. There is a metal grill in front making it sturdy.

There is a silicone handle with a rubberized matt finish at the top which makes it portable while walking or outdoors. Control buttons are placed at the side through which you can play/pause songs, move to the next song, or to the previous song along with the mode button which helps you change between modes but the placement of the buttons is quite off, and a little confusing.

Connectivity and battery

This speaker stays connected to other devices from a distance of 11 meters. The connectivity is very fast and stabilized. It has a 3000 mAh rechargeable battery which lasts up to 8 hours and gives a 20-hour talk time. The battery gets fully charged in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

You can also charge it further to ensure long battery life. Near the charging pin is a light source that tells whether the speaker is charging. Other than Bluetooth, it also comes with a 3.5 mm AUX input. So you can say it is a pretty nice deal.

I reviewed this amazing speaker on 21 November 2021 and I’ve had this amazing speaker for nearly two years now, and it’s been fantastic. Boat Stone 1000 hasn’t had any problems, and the sound quality is still excellent. Whether I’m listening to music or watching movies, this speaker always sounds great. While the battery doesn’t last quite as long as it used to, it’s not a big issue because I can still use it by plugging it in with the charging cable it comes with. Overall, this speaker has proven to be a reliable choice that keeps delivering great sound for hours. If you’re looking for a speaker that lasts a long time and sounds awesome, I highly recommend this one.
