Noise Buds N1 Pro Review: I was looking for affordable earbuds and Amazon recommended Noise Buds N1 Pro. It is a hot-selling product on Amazon with 4.2/5 stars ratings (2700+ ratings). The brand, Noise, has been making waves in the budget-friendly TWS market for a while, regularly bringing out fresh audio products. The Noise Buds N1 Pro is one of the very latest releases and it is packed with cool features and comes at a wallet-friendly price of just Rs 1,799.

These earbuds include 11mm drivers, Noise’s Instacharge technology, quad-mic support, and impressive battery life. But does it have what it takes to stand out? Let’s dive into this detailed Noise Buds N1 Pro Review to find out!

Noise Buds N1 Pro Review

Noise Buds N1 Pro is an affordable pair of earbuds. You can buy them on Amazon and from Noise’s official website. Now, let’s examine the design and build quality in this Noise Buds N1 Pro Review.

Design and Build

Available in Green, Beige, Purple, and Black, the Noise Buds N1 Pro comes in a compact charging case with a metallic finish that gives it a nice touch. While made from plastic, the case feels sturdy for its price, and its size (43 x 56 x 28mm) and rounded edges make it easy to carry (Weight – 39g total) in your pocket.

The case’s small LED indicator shows the charging level, adding to its functionality. However, the overall design could be a bit more polished. It seems more like Noise Buds N1 with some decorative changes to the charging case.

The earbuds feature a wedge-like stem with indicator lights on top and a mix of glossy and matte finishes, giving them a decent look. They’re lightweight, compact, and fit snugly, allowing for comfortable, extended wear. The silicone tips provide good passive noise isolation, while the IPX5 (water and dust resistance – IPX5 {Buds only}) rating offers sweat and dust resistance—a great perk in this price range.

The case feels soft to the touch but can be a bit slippery. The earbuds, however, have soft, rounded corners and a flat stem design. Each one also comes with an LED indicator, just like in the non-pro version.

Sound and Performance

The Noise Buds N1 Pro doesn’t come with a companion app, which means you can’t customize things like sound profiles and touch controls. This is a bit of a letdown, especially since other earbuds, like the Xiaomi Buds 5C, do offer an app with plenty of customization options. However, the Noise Buds N1 Pro still has some great features, like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 32 dB.

In terms of specs, these earbuds have an 11mm driver, support Bluetooth 5.3, and include quad microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). The ANC can cancel out about 32 dB of noise, which works well indoors for blocking out fan or AC sounds but may not be as effective in noisy environments. The earbuds offer a bass-heavy sound profile, which bass lovers will really enjoy! With ANC, a simple tap and hold on the right earbud turns it on or off. You can swipe up or down on the right earbud to raise the volume while swiping on the left reduces it. Double-tapping pauses or plays music, and holding down on the left earbud activates low-latency mode.

Speaking of low-latency mode, it performs well with a 40ms response time, which helps reduce audio lag for watching movies or gaming.

When it comes to sound quality, the Noise Buds N1 Pro really delivers on bass. It offers a punchy bass, and the vocals come through decently. However, the bass can sometimes overshadow the mids and highs. Listening at around 60-70% volume provides the best sound balance without any distortion.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The Noise Buds N1 Pro earbuds have a solid battery life. The company claims you can get up to 60 hours of backup with the case, and in my experience, I got around 38 hours. The earbuds themselves last around 5 hours on a full charge, and they recharge fully in under 2 hours and 10 minutes, which is pretty convenient.

However, I did find the connectivity a bit frustrating. Pairing with a smartphone or laptop takes some patience—you need to tap and hold the right earbud to start pairing, but the process wasn’t always smooth, and there were times the earbuds just wouldn’t connect.

For call quality, the Noise Buds N1 Pro did a decent job. The quad-mic ENC works well indoors, making voices clear for the person on the other end. In louder environments, though, the mic has a harder time filtering out background noise.

Noise Buds N1 Pro Review Conclusion

Overall, the Noise Buds N1 Pro offers a good blend of style and performance. Its metallic finish gives it a unique look, and bass lovers will appreciate the deep, thumping sound. The battery life is also pretty reliable. However, in this Noise Buds N1 Pro review we found that it does have its ups and downs. The bass can overshadow the highs and mids, and the lack of a companion app along with occasional connectivity issues can be frustrating. In this price range, it faces some tough competition from some of the earbuds of the same price range like the Honor Choice Earbuds X5, which offer more features.
