While it might be true in the past that major of cheap wireless earbuds don’t perform as promised by the manufacturer, is the case different for JLab Audio Go Air?

In this JLab Go Air Review, we’d talk about what makes this device different from others, the benefits, and the specifications of purchasing JLab Audio Go Air.

JLab Audio Go Air Review

JLab Audio Go Air Review

Like every other true wireless earphone, we have reviewed on We Observed. JLab Audio Go Air comes with amazing features and specifications, all of which give it a competitive edge when compared with other devices out there.

For a price under £22, JLab Go Air is available in four colors: black, white, green, and blue and can be purchased from Amazon.

Though the comes with certain shortcomings, unlike more expensive wireless earphones. Nevertheless, it’s a great buy when we talk of it under-friendless.

Rather than coming with focusing on the dual connectivity, custom EQ sound, small design, how does it feel using JLab Go Air?

Through this JLab Audio Go Air Review Let’s find out!

Design and Specification

Wireless earphones having their logos on the outside of the device is not a new concept, SkullCandy Indy Evo and Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo boost of same. However, Compared to other wireless earphones, this particular model is small.

And looking at JLab Go Air from the comfort and ease in taking around perspective, that’s impressive as it makes it fit-in properly; that it won’ fall off down doing activities.

Design and Specification JLab Go Air

The JLab Go Air and charging case are both made with plastic. Though this kind of makes it unattractive, but that is the least of things to worry about if weight and comfort are all you look out for.

Talking of the control, it features a touch-capacitive pane on each bud that gives total control of the earphone; you can control virtually everything without using your smartphone.

On both earpieces are the buttons that control the volume, call management, power etc. Though it takes time to get used to each button’s functionalities.

A single tap on the touch-capacitative button control the volume down, pressing and holding control the track backward, holding for three seconds control the power.

Furthermore, the right earbud houses capacitative touch that controls raising of volume, skip, call management; which can be activated with a single tap, double-tap, and press and holding respectively.

However, the buttons seem to be too sensitive, especially when using on ears. It takes multiple taps to get the controls to register the touch. As insignificant as this is, it can cause a misfiring of controls.

At such a price, nothing good should be expected out of the 1P44 rating. It can only withstand exposure to dust or dirt particles and splashes, meaning that it’s not high enough to withstand the water from the faucet or direct running water.

Rather than the JLab Audio app and Burn-out tool contribute to effective listening, it serves more like a marketing tool. The audio app-only makes connecting to the JLab store easily, so there is no reason to download the app.

It’s no doubt that JLab Audio Go Air build quality is excellent and comfortable to take around. This makes it ideal for small ears and creates the perfect seal needed for crystal clear sound.

Performance and Battery Life

What does using JLab Go Air feels like? It’s no doubt that JLab Go Air is a great buy when affordability is put first, however, it comes with some features that seem unnecessary and perform below expectation.

Compare to other true wireless earphones the mic performs below average and there there is some noteble occasional Bluetooth distortion. Hence there is some skew between the sound clarity and signal level.

Review of JLab Audio Go Air

Talking of the sound system, each earbud comes with its own microphone, which makes it possible to use either bud for mono listening and still be able to accept calls. Sound quality is not that reach but bass has depth. No wider Soundstages and average speaker are the main point here that is going against it.

Just to test these earbuds I played a few classic songs (suggested by Google) such as How Did I Fall In Love With You-Backstreet Boys and Tonight I Celebrate My Love and the and these earbuds doesn’t sounds as good as a few I tested before.

It’s worth mentioning that this wireless earphone has an battery life of 4 hours and you can also get an additional 15 hours from the case. Meanwhile, how long the battery really lasts depends on the volume used when listening to music or calling.

JLab Audio Go Air Review Conclusions

In this JLab Audio Go Air Review we find-out that despite coming out cheap, the JLAB Audio Go Air comes with some necessary features needed to meet the basic needs of earbuds, sound quality is average but deep bass and the excellent base provided by the 8mm neodymium drivers microphone for phone calls is notable.

Although, it has some shortcomings which are stated above and along with them we can’t forget the sensitivity of the touch capacitive button. Other than that, these are tough competitor in this price range.

For an athlete who wants an IP44 rated wireless earphone, music listeners who are on a budget looking for affordable true wireless earphones, the JLab Audio Go Air is the best true wireless earphones to get at that price.
