Rock Mumo HIMA 428 Review

Japang Rock Mumo HIMA 428 Wireless Bluetooth Earphoneis available at Amazon, in black colour only, I replaced Infinity (JBL) Glide 500 Wireless with this one for a week as my daily driver. And now I am here with Rock Mumo HIMA 428 Review. I hope you will like it!!

Design and Specification

Made with very light and cheap plastic, it has a fine design and look. I was not expecting much and It somehow lived up to my expectations. The silicone cover that was covering the charging port gets separated in just 5 days so you can guess the build quality.

The silicon made ear tips fit well in ears and also reducing the outer noise. But it is not made for running, exercise and even not for a walk. The wire is enough long however it is not very strong so you have to take care of it the main controlling hub has three multifunctional buttons the middle button is for Power (long press), and play pause and double press can make a call to the number placed top in the call history. remaining two are for adjusting volume and changing tracks. It also features an in-built mic and red/blue indicator led in the controlling hub. For both, there are three tiny holes on the control hub container.

As per my personal experience and keeping the price in mind, it feels cheap in hand but looks fine and has all the basic things at the proper palace. When we talk about the specs then on paper it features 10mm drives with frequency range 20 to 20000hz and 32-ohm impedance. Its wire length is 130mm, and as you know it has an in-built mic. There are no details about the Bluetooth version and battery capacity.

Performance and Battery Life

There were no details about the Bluetooth version, but the device connected to the phone very quickly and also has a good range of 10 meters. There was no connectivity drop in the range during the whole use. It even can be connected to more than one Bluetooth device which was also not denoted anywhere.

When I played some tracks through it, it sounds a bit unusual but it was a similar problem I faced with the Chinese Headphone; Not JBL 771c Bluetooth Headphone and I remembered what exactly it needs. So I went to the equalizer settings and adjusted a bit, after spending a few minutes it started to sound good.

After a bit of adjustment, it was able to manage high and low notes very well, it doesn’t have punchy bass but actually it has enough bass. Rock Mumo HIMA 428 has very limited sound stages but at a price range of Rs 400, we can’t complain much. It sounds just fine there was no problem of lag, delay or something. I played lots of videos and also used Spotify and Youtube Music with it without any major problem. It can be really loud when needed, I normally used it with 40-60% volume.

It does also features in-build mic so we also tried handsfree calling. and let me admit it that It has an amazing mic. Receiver end gets very clear voice without any noise. So for me, it is the best thing in this product.

If we talk about the battery life in this Rock Mumo HIMA 428 Review, then let me tell you that it gots full charge in 35 minutes, and then it can play music for around 2.20hrs at 60% volume. So the charging time and playing time ratio is also fine.

It is fine wireless earphone, But if you have a better budget then go for others, there are plenty of good wireless earphone. Rock Mumo HIMA 428 doesn’t have the premium build quality but it still looks and feels fine. After a few adjustments via the equalizer, it started to sound good, however, you can hear some wire noise while playing tracks. The Range is good and the mic is the most amazing thing about this product. After regular use and keeping its price in mind I am impressed with the product and actually can’t complain much about it.
