JBL Club One Review
JBL Club One headphone is very much new into the market space. Many music professionals and individuals interested in headphones are on the lookout to see if the headphone is a match for its rivals in the market space.
JBL Club One headphone, at the moment is the most premium member of the JBL flagship headphones. The headphone is more inspired by touring musicians and professionals, and it’s kinda suited to them for performance and staging live.
It’s an anti-noise cancelling headphones, with a price pegged at $350 or ₹16999. Is the quality, design, and performance with the price?

Design and Specification.
This headphone has a sleek design. It looks and feels fantastic. It doesn’t look like one that’s going to be easy to break.
Once you unpack it from the zip-up hardshell case that seems water-resistant but might not be, you’ll notice the weight. It weighs more than most average headphones — 378.5g. It might feel a little heavy on the head if you’re used to the lighter ones, but it’s comfortable.
The headphone is available for sale in black colour. It has a soft headband and earpads with stitched leather looks; the cushion makes it more comfortable to use. The force of the clamp seems a little tight depending on the head size of the user, which is pretty good, considering that the earpads are cushioned well. With time, the cushion will loosen up.
It comes with a USB C charging cable, two audio cables for passive listening, a single-button inline remote control, and a mic. One of the two cables is coiled, and the other is cloth-lined. Also, it comes with a ¼ inch headphone jack adapter and an airline jack adapter.

There are control buttons on both sides of the ears. The left side has a power button, Bluetooth, a button in charge of turning the Anti-noise cancelling on and off when pressed for two seconds and also doubles for turning on ambient mode when pressed quickly. The left ear also has a status led and connection port for the audio cable, and a voice assistant button.
The right side has a volume up or down button which also doubles for changing tracks when press and hold, a button for central playback and managing calls, a USB C port, and another connection port for the audio cable. This means that you can use any of the two sides.
Performance and Battery Life.
One of the key things potential headphones buyers looks out for is the sound. I will not be wrong if I put it out you’re big on the quality of the sound the JBL Club One headphone produces.
The sound is not super or too bassy, but it’s bassy enough if you understand what I mean. It produces accurate and precise sounds, which is pretty cool. Some people say that the maximum volume of the JBL Club One headphone is not high.
Well, I think this depends on individual preference. If you ask me, I will say the maximum volume is perfect. When placed in comparison with other rival headphones, the maximum volume is lower but it’s still perfect.
Let’s dive into its anti-noise cancelling effect. This effect helps to eliminate background noise from the environment. JBL Club One headphone ANC is pretty good with low-duty noise, but when there’s anything beyond the low-duty noise, the ANC might not be enough for it.

So, the headphone has another cool feature which is referred to as the ambient mode. This works in two ways. It can help reduce the sound, so you can be able to converse with people while you’re using the headphone. Probably, you’re going to shop, and you quickly need to talk to the cashier. You can press the switch to ambient mode. It also allows you to hear what’s going on in the environment well.
In the specification section, I listed some cables for use with the headphone. Have you tried using some headphones, and the cable was not well keyed to the port, so it kept getting removed from the port? This can be annoying. The good news, is JBL Club One headphone port keys the cable in so well, avoiding removals.
The battery life is pretty amazing. You can go for about 45 hours just using the Bluetooth without using the anti-noise cancelling, and you can go on for about 23 hours when you are using the anti-noise cancelling. This is quite outstanding, and the plus is, it charges fully for about 2 hours.
The JBL app is another perfect feature, and it can do so much. You can switch to the ambient mode using the app. The ambient mode exists in two settings, talk-thru and ambient awareness. Talk thru allows you to be able to talk with people without having to get your headphones off your head, as I stated earlier. The ambient mode helps you be able to hear what’s going on in your environment without reducing the sound from the headphones.
You can control the ANC from the app, and also set up your voice assistant. Also, the app presents various EQ presets for you to choose from, and you can also make one yourself. All from the app.
