Oppo Enco W51 Review: Active noise cancellation getting featured on truly wireless earphones is a relatively new concept.
However, it began gaining traction after being used on premium devices such as Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM3. And in just a year, this concept has become readily used in most wireless earphones out there. One of them is the Oppo Enco W51 True Wireless Earphones.
So being one of the varieties of wireless earphones, it’s understandable to want to know what to expect. Is it worth the price or just another earphone?
Let’s find out!
Oppo Enco W51 Review
This earphone is a truly wireless earphone that relies on the same AirPods Pro-Inspired design as its predecessors. It leverages the ANC and triple-microphone features for proper noise reduction.
It’s available in 2 colors: Floral White and Starry Blue. Other than the true wireless features, it has IP45 dust, and water resistance that we’d be talking about extensively in the subsequent section of this Oppo Enco W51 Review.

Design and Specs
Talking of the impressive look of Oppo Free, this earphone is nothing close. But looks decent enough and attractive. Besides that, everything about the design seems okay. It fits properly into the ear canal, and that is the core of a good ANC system.
Other than fitting properly into the ear, it stays comfortable over long listening sessions, rendering an average amount of passive noise isolation.
Also, the in-ear ergonomic design offers a more exquisite wearing experience, smaller at a weight of 3.95g. At a weight lesser than 4.0g, it is safe to say Oppo Enco W51 is lightweight and can easily be taken around.
Another interesting thing about this piece is that the lid and earpieces stay in place, even while unclosed. All of this is due to the magnetic element laced on the inside. On the inside is a button that serves as a pairing and battery level checker button.

Furthermore, the Oppo Enco W51 features sensors stalk on each of the earbuds serving as the touch controls. They are customizable, but the major drawback is that the customization can only be done with a compatible Oppo smartphone. And if you have known, you have to stick with the default settings.
With a double tap on the left side, you’ll get the ANC system activated; a double tap on the right controls the Prev/Prev of music, and a triple tap on either side activates the default voice assistant you have set on your smartphone.
Another turn-of of Oppo Enco W51 True Wireless Earphone is that pausing, playing,g or adjustment of the volume level can only be done through the smartphone.
But the manufacturer made up for it with proximity sensors that turn off the earbuds when you take them off. That way you don’t have to bring out your smartphone to turn off the earphone.

Performance and Battery Life
What does using the Oppo W51 True Wireless Earphone feel like?
Like every other true wireless earphone out there, the Enco W51 comes with an excellent battery that offers 15 hours cycle, which can be subjected to some changes. That’s an amazing one, but reviews from verified buyers show that it performs below expectations when the ANC system is on.
Another thing done right with this wireless earphone is the wireless charging and ANC system, both of which make the use of Enco W51 more comfortable. It’s worth noting that the audio also comes out well; a balanced buzz and detailed signature.
It has no support for advanced Bluetooth codecs but works perfectly with the AAC Codec to fill up the margin.
You’ll also love Oppo Enco W51 True Wireless Earphones for it stress-free and stable Bluetooth connection. At a distance of up to 15 feet, once in clear sight, you will have not problem connecting to the sound source.
Talking of the audio performance, it performs on average. The bass isn’t anyway punchy, but light, distinct, and calculated; however, offers plenty of detail across the frequency range. The soundstage provides a sense of feel and direction. If you have extra cash to throw around, you might want to consider earphones like Lypertek Tevi or Sony WF-1000XM3.
Oppo Enco W51 Review : Conclusion
With not so much delivered by different true wireless earphones at this price, in this Oppo Enco W51 Review the Enco W51 TWS is one of the best out of the lot. However, it has some drawbacks.
However, this earphone is a good one for its Active Noise Cancellation System, fit into ears, looks, seamless connectivity, builds, and call quality, but you might want to rethink if you want something with good bass. OPPO Enco W51 is a fine pair of earbuds with budget ANC and good sound output it will impress you.
