Now, You will ask why so much water is wasted? so I found the reason as well and here it is,

Why so much water is wasted in RO system? Is RO wastewater safe to drink?

Most of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) purifiers use membrane technology to filter impurities and solids dissolved in the water, because of the high level of impurities impure water is directly filtered out and it is known as wastewater or rejected water. The rejected water is not good for drinking or bathing and I would like to mention here that the percentage of wastewater varies according to the RO purifier being used.

  2. I personally extended the RO wastewater pipe using a saline pipe and dropped it in a big tank placed outside our kitchen.
  3. When there is no big space available to put a tank around the RO, Use a small bucket and collect wastewater in it then connect a submersible pump for taking water from this small bucket to the tank or big bucket.
