As you know that all Living organisms require water to stay alive.  Water is the main constituent of Earth’s streams, lakes, and oceans, and the fluids of most living organisms. Safe drinking water is essential to humans and other lifeforms even though it provides no calories or organic nutrients. Access to safe drinking water has improved over the last decades in almost every part of the world.  But There is still some room for improvement, and that’s what these  4 New Eco-Friendly Inventions related to Water are trying to do. They are improving the way to carry water, Purify Water, save water, and making water long time usable. They are also in search of New sources of water or way to reuse the water.

I know these are very small steps or these latest inventions in science are not available on the large scale but they will definitely help us to manage water and show us the improved ways to handle water-related problems.

18. MIT Device Extracts Water from Air

Have you seen the Movie Pitch black (2000)? In that movie, there was a machine (on that monestrous Planet) that extracts water from the extremely arid air.  So Now the MIT invented An innovative water extraction system that can harvest drinking water from the extremely arid air.According to the team, the newly improved solar-powered device can extract potable water from air with relative humidity levels as low as ten percent, yielding up to a one-quarter liter of water per kilogram of metal-organic frameworks (MOF).The device ( water extraction system) is able to harvest water from the desert air via its metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), which have a high surface area.

19. Titanium Mats Purify Water

Researchers have created titanium nanoparticle mats able to purify water with UV light.The titanium nanoparticle mats Developed by a team from Rice University, the mats consist of hydrophobic polymer fibers embedded with titanium dioxide nanoparticles that will repel water while also binding to pollutants. Exposing the mats to UV light will trigger the release of a reactive oxygen species, destroying the pollutants while requiring much less energy than other water purifying technologies.

2. It can also be used in removing harmful and toxic materials from water.

20. Keego Squeezable Titanium Water Bottle

The Keego water bottle invention is made out of squeezable titanium, ensuring cleaner water and reducing plastic waste.Made up of 99.8 percent titanium, the Keego gets its squeezability from an elastic polymer core. The result is a durable, scratch-resistant water bottle that keeps water cleaner and prevents the off-flavors associated with some plastic bottles.

21. Livin Shower Minds the Temperature to Save Water

Typically, taking a warm shower involves turning on the water and checking it until it comes to the desired temperature. By pressing the push-button, Livin Shower system will automatically pause the shower stream once it reaches temperature. Besides eliminating the need to physically check the water temperature, the Livin Shower system also makes it easy to pause the shower midstream while soaping or shaving and then resume at the set temperature. According to the development team, the Livin Shower could save up to 1875 gallons of water per year.
